Well, first we have to ensure you actually removed all the stingers. You're used to treating wounds that do not require such meticulous inspection.

Not necessarily. They're not much different than splinters once the venom is spent. But the stings also won't be able to completely heal as long as they remain.

Also... I doubt you would pay it much mind right now.

[realizes that for better or worse he has no choice but to see how things unfold. any extended absence would encourage suspicion and that is something he cannot afford. he puts a hand to his head and feigns a stumble, catching himself on the edge of the doorway and shaking his head]

I had been meaning to speak with her. She was telling me about the people she's met here but was interrupted before she could continue.
