((OOC Notes: Because I screwed up my timing, the top and bottom threads are about a week apart. We are assuming after talk with C.C., Lelouch chilled in the sewers for a while and later ran into Suzaku while the knight was Zero-hunting. Just go with me here. o/))

[realizes that for better or worse he has no choice but to see how things unfold. any extended absence would encourage suspicion and that is something he cannot afford. he puts a hand to his head and feigns a stumble, catching himself on the edge of the doorway and shaking his head]

Ah, I suppose I'm not quite as recovered as I originally thought.

I had been meaning to speak with her. She was telling me about the people she's met here but was interrupted before she could continue.

[leans close, inspecting... as suzaku said most of the wounds are healing sufficiently. however, there are one or two that look less assuring. a closer look reveals two telltale black spots. lelouch sighs]
