Omg. O_O This is so beautiful. It's like something out of a fic. Suzaku who never dreams. Lelouch who has so-so dreams. The riverbed. It could stand for their friendship, for everything lost in the past and still there if only they pay attention: "makes me feel as though something important, something nostalgic is coming towards me from up above." I wonder if he used to do the same after he lost his memories. I love when he shows his sensitive side - the boy who likes literature and pays attention to details, because it mashes so well with his more assertive, pragmatic persona. Simply breathtaking.
And the way Lelouch just enjoys lying in the grass and being free, inviting Suzaku to do the same. And-and...Lelouch gently asking Suzaku to not take his job so seriously, even when he would rather not do things half-assed (as an even bigger display of insincerity, WOW Lelouch). I think this is the first time ever in which I see him indirectly asking Suzaku to just give up and be happy. Not as Zero, but as Lelouch.
Omgomgomgomg, I'm in love with this. So many layers of meaning. I wish I had written it. >_< Thank you SO much for posting.
