T-That icon...

Lelouch is concerned about what Kallen's timeline means to the people back home more than anything. Since everything was fairly stable, aside from Euphie's plot bomb, when he left. Now with Kallen openly attacking Britannia/Suzaku and hinting at some bad happenings on his end, he is beyond uneasy. He's also still poking at that whole switcheroo Kallen seems to have played on him alone and is definitely having second-thoughts about her stopping her attack when he yelled at her. Suspicious terrorist is suspicious.

I want to know about Hatori and his whole take on being unable to stop anyone from their feuds with Ticky, as well as his opinion of Ticky prior to the incident and how that influenced the way he acted leading up to.

O-Oh Lulu. KALLEN STILL WANTS TO TALK TO ZERO, BTW. She wants orders and guidance, even though this might be counterproductive for Lulu in the long run.

Hatori has this thing where... one of his biggest priorities in life is protecting the people he cares about. Ever since he was a teenager, he's had to erase many people's memories in order to do that, when the Kana thing happened, he had to erase her memories in order to protect her as well, and after that he makes it his purpose in life to make sure none of the Sohma children have to suffer because of the curse and what happens when they start relating to other people. And in the thread with Ticky he tried to protect Mika and Rabi but ultimately failed due to his own impotence -- this is a big part of why he was so emo; because he hadn't been able to protect them. And so, when Setsuna or Mika or Rabi started talking about kicking Ticky's ass Hatori couldn't, in good conscience, tell them not to do it, because like he told Setsuna, he'd probably do the same himself, if he could. Because hey, once you fail at protecting someone, there's isn't a lot you can do besides get revenge. And... Hatori doesn't condone revenge, I don't really think he's a vengeful person himself, but when it comes to things like these one acts upon impulse and ... yeah, it's complicated. THIS IS JUST A TL;DR WAY TO SAY that Hatori is feeling really guilty and impotent and emo right now, and he'll need some sense smacked into him to get over it.

As for his opinion of Ticky... it was never good. He first learned about him when Rabi was deaged and Ticky messed with him, then there was the incident with Mika's wings, and then Shigure moreless told him what had happened with Abel. Hatori was wary and also, because of past events, not in the best disposition to be civil. Unfortunately, he never imagined being all :| and slightly snarky would get him a free order of badtouch, orz. But yeah... basically, he didn't feel like he had to be nice/polite or humour someone who had been such a jerk to some of his most important people.
