SOTU/Drop meme-ish

thekingsgambitStill can't sleep so doing a quick and dirty drop meme. Spoilers, I'm not dropping anyone. I guess it's more of a lazy SOTU. Also, I am on a mad backlogging quest for all of my current lineup. Said logs can be found at the top of each of the journals, with actual descriptions of pertinent plot within threads. Feel free to read if you want to know WTF is up with Lelouch/Clampcast, Zero/Campires/Camp Demons or why Setsuna loves annoying the hell out of people
Anyway,
Lelouch, Zero and Kiba are my only characters getting real development right now.
Lelouch is EXTREMELY FUCKED UP if his post didn't make that obvious. I do have a mini-essay to toss up on this. But I think Lelouch is possibly ICly WORSE than when I first updated him to end-canon. He is a liar and he will put on his act of course but yeah the boy's in very very bad shape mentally. Having Suzaku here helps and hurts that state of mind at the same time. This also means that Lelouch is presently more closed off than usual, except around CC and to some extent, Suzaku. Yes, this means he is blocking Nunnally. This also means that Lelouch is more prone to especially "dumb" and self-destructive acts if he believes they will serve their purpose.
Zero is encountering more and more vampires and almost sorta kind starting to humor the possibility that at least at camp, not all of them are evil. Demons either. He's still bitchy and does his holier-than-thou warning, but he's not so quick to breathe down their neck unless he sees them doing something questionable. Also, his talk with Jasper did not help his Yuuki issues one bit and he's dwelling on it a bit more than usual. He is also opening up to people more, such as his rather impressive tell-on to Ebi. Basically, boy is nuts but he's calming down just a tad.
Kiba just learns constantly. This is why I love playing Kiba. He can be a scary brutal wolf, but he's also got this streak in him that drives him to listen to people. It plays well with his way of constantly critiquing humans. Backlogging actually opened my eyes to how much Kiba has developed at camp. I originally set out to focus on the leadership aspect, but as I have no cast, it has been gradually amending to Kiba's general interaction around people. He has some of the weirdest threads of my lineup and they are amazing. He's still restless and he still wants Cheza badly, but he is getting that there is more than just his drive out there. It's interesting.
Setsuna and Toboe are not really my development whores but more my spammers because they are just easy to play. I don't know if that actually makes sense because most people spam with their primaries and push for development. But it's obvious that Lelouch is my primary. Anywhoo... Setsuna was getting killer development for a while with the Sohmas, which I miss, but now he is going through his updating cycle. This has been a lot of fun, especially with Hatter and partially with Percy. But overall, Setsuna is just my staple since I can do anything with him. He also tends to be my relationship whore. Toboe is becoming a bit bolder, his anxiety not lasting as long as it used to from the initial onset. He's also becoming much more accepting of cats; Necoco is a good example of this and his little pufferkitten Surprise is a big help too. I love playing him because he is my puppy and he is adorable.
And yes, Eddie is the problem child. I am not getting him out enough. Or I get him out and I am unsure if his threads are going anywhere. I liked his post with Setsuna, but in retrospect, it was a bad idea because that post was largely swallowed by Setsuna's update and Eddie's threads felt extremely casual, except for maybe Nodame and some others. I love Eddie like you wouldn't believe, but I always get mrrr about problem children. I don't like to watch them get so clearly left behind in the dust. I just want to really DO something with him. I don't think I'm taking full advantage of his character in any threads outside those with Roland. Even with the young gunslingers, he still feels... detached to me. Things are not cohesive and this gives me jitters. So yeah, I need to figure out what the fuck is up with that and probably exchange my play time with other characters for him. I need to get him involved in some serious action because that is where Eddie thrives. And most importantly, I need some actual CR because unlike Kiba, Eddie cannot work without CR. Halp. :(
