Well right now, BADLY. Prior to this, he was doing all right again, aside from his general frustration at camp fucking with his friends. He is having some issues with being unable to protect people, stemming from the Eric/Parker incident so the new vampire probably isn't exactly helping. Nor was Chris getting spelled by the spirit or Ebi ended up de-aged against her wishes. Zero functions best when he believes he has a purpose, you know a reason for not offing himself, so his mentality suffers especially when that purpose is threatened. His current feeling of helplessness, augmented by his concern over his own stability, is making him much more agitated and terse, even around those closest to him.

In general, Zero's sanity fluctuates based on both camp's influence and SOMEONE'S presence. People are trying to help him deal with this is various ways, but as we all know, Zero is VERY VERY stubborn and tends to shut them out. Pretty much, he's thrown his whole weight into doing whatever he can during this crisis and he's likely going to crash and burn.

They haven't threaded much yet! They did some bonding over their mutual schoolwork failitude and Yuuki is going BOTHERBOTHERBOTHER at him because he hit a number of her pings and she wants to know more about him. Except he keeps making this face (http://l-userpic.livejournal.com/96898173/24653386) at her. WHICH SHE CHOOSES TO IGNORE. GOD RUKA I CAN'T BE THAT BAD.

Since he hasn't told her to go away or like. stabbed her yet SHE WILL PROBABLY KEEP AT IT. Just maybe not this month, sob.

We touched a bit on this in the last thread so I'm curious as to how well Zero is keeping past!Yuuki and present!Yuuki separate in his head.

Lol you must really throw him. XD They are cute.

Zero *thought* he was doing pretty damn good at it but when she derps or gets super protective toward people and wanting to do the right thing, it becomes infinitely harder. And he really really can't afford that so it pokes his issues further. Right now, he's really floundering at it and probably will have some more difficulties outright telling her to go away or that she can't help. Unless he's spazzing.

ONIISAMA'S BRAIN IS SO FUCKED UP.

I mean!

No, I kind of mean that. It was a very draining and incredibly unpleasant experience for her. Seeing and fighting Rido again is a nightmare for her. However, it gave more insight into Kaname which is something she craves. She wants to understand him--even the parts she doesn't like. And, well, this is the girl who spent a year hallucinating things like murdering her five-year-old self. It's not like her mind would exactly be a walk in the park either. She came out of it shaken but . . . almost glad that it happened?

s-sob uh! Yuuki has twinges of jealousy towards the people at camp that are close to him. She wants Zero to have these people! She loves that other people get past Zero's crankiness to his adorable squishy and incredibly kind-hearted center! But it hurts that she doesn't have access to that side of Zero anymore and it hurts not to be someone that he can rely on or go to. She can't comfort him or even touch him. Ebi can. SO YES SHE IS A TEENY BIT JEALOUS but that's something she's not even going to admit to herself, baw.

SPEAKING OF JEALOUS GIRLS Shirley arrives in camp tomorrow! How does Lulu react?

Initially, he'd be ecstatic because Shirley was special to him and he wants her to have another chance at life, like Euphie did for a while here. He'd probably be a lot more honest with her in face of everything she knows and while he'd still be guilty as all hell, he'd just be happy to be around her again. Lelouch does miss Ashford terribly. It was the best part of his life. As far as feelings go, Lelouch loves Shirley too, though it's more of the shy, not quite understanding love than what he is actively aware of right now with Suzaku. Her actual presence might change that, given more time. But really, Lelouch is hella selfish, he'd try for both. |D
