Toboe, like Kiba, is a still a bit bummed about the setting change because it's too tame for his nature, but he is making new friends like SOMEONE. He's also more on edge because of the general atmosphere of October and will probably end up doing some fighting. His experiences as a human were fun but also reminded him how much he loves being a wolf, as long as he can still spend time with his human friends. In general, he's trying to be bolder so he can be more helpful during the month.

State of the Hatter?

Well right now, BADLY. Prior to this, he was doing all right again, aside from his general frustration at camp fucking with his friends. He is having some issues with being unable to protect people, stemming from the Eric/Parker incident so the new vampire probably isn't exactly helping. Nor was Chris getting spelled by the spirit or Ebi ended up de-aged against her wishes. Zero functions best when he believes he has a purpose, you know a reason for not offing himself, so his mentality suffers especially when that purpose is threatened. His current feeling of helplessness, augmented by his concern over his own stability, is making him much more agitated and terse, even around those closest to him.

In general, Zero's sanity fluctuates based on both camp's influence and SOMEONE'S presence. People are trying to help him deal with this is various ways, but as we all know, Zero is VERY VERY stubborn and tends to shut them out. Pretty much, he's thrown his whole weight into doing whatever he can during this crisis and he's likely going to crash and burn.

Bored. Hatter's two biggest pastimes--keeping Hell from destroying itself one way or another, and sleeping around--aren't happening in camp, and Hatter is really starting to feel it. What's more, xe's not killing anyone this year, so while that doesn't preclude other ways to entertain hirself, it's still sort of limiting.

Which is part of how things like possessing Shikamaru happen.

Hatter will probably start trying to get into some mischief somehow soon. You know, once I think of SOMETHING.

Hmm, that's a tough one since I'm currently still finishing up the last plot with lots of backdating so I'll just provide a list of his issues.

- Obviously he's fucked up about shooting his sister and geassing his friends, especially Kamui. Since you are like Nunnally-lite to him. :( The shooting stings particularly because of the many other times Lelouch tried to deliberately severely injured Cornelia and this wasn't of his own volition. Lelouch haet being controlled by others. IRONIC ISN'T IT. This mentality is actually not a bad thing because it directs his anger toward camp instead of himself for once and may help him get over his emotional maelstrom as of late.

- Still dealing with how to give Nunnally the nurturing she needs to grown on her own without distancing himself to the point of avoidance. Nunnally is also figuring things out as far as his half-truths so he's been treading very carefully with her. Lelouch is trying VERY HARD not to lie to her anymore. It is not always 100% successful.

- Figuring wtf to do about his feelings for Suzaku and vice-versa. Feelings, how do they work? And hormones are troublesome. :|a

OCTOBER SHOULD BE VEEEEEERY INTERESTING FOR THE LULU.

As Ichiru is still IMMENSELY IMPORTANT to Zero and one of his most bitter wounds, having Ichiru at camp would probably lead to awkwardness like nobody's business but would also probably give Zero some peace at being able to spend time with his brother again, now that they almost understand each other again. He can protect him like he wanted. :( His ghost-consciousness talk in canon with Ichiru shows he very much still needs his support for dealing with things, as much as he pretends otherwise. Zero is very good at faking sane, which is what makes his insanity all the more dangerous because it comes as a surprise. Overall, Zero just misses his brother terribly.

What drew you to Dorothy? Also, what happened with Apollo? :(

I missed the possessing Shikamaru! I want to hear more. Also, maybe you can work out something along the lines of what Grelle is doing to get in some Hatter action.

Honestly, I wanted a dragon, and I really love Peter. I've loved the movie forever, and I thought Peter's was a voice I could really enjoy and his fascination with all things magic/science gives me lots of different thread-jumping opportunities. Though, I do want to do more with his fire and fail. I might also shift him back into his human form for a while. I just love how much of a total dork he is.

My question is the one about Shika.

Hmm, that's tough since while some of the things they care about confuses him, Kiba is still too indifferent toward most humans to be truly confused by them. I would say the way their general behavior goes against most basic survival instincts is his biggest question. Also, why they care about things they don't need. Kiba understands basic emotions but gets lost when they get more contradictory.

Demyx's take on de-aged Lea and Isa?

He liked them! And he really wishes that Isa could have stuck around instead of Saix coming back :(. At the same time, though, it was a bit disturbing seeing them as their former, intact selves. Something of a reminder of what he also has lost, himself. But mostly he was thinking "Pfft, they have such terrible fashion sense!"

He finds them confusing and spends a great deal of time poking at them... often in public. Also tries jumping up and down a few times, but quickly decides that's no fun at all.

What does Peter miss most about his human form?

Hooooooh, well. So Shikamaru wanted to know what's up between Hatter and the angels, and why Mika hates hir, and so on and so forth, and wasn't getting any answers.

Hatter ended up with Shika in a blanket post a while back, and they started talking about, Shika tried to use shadow based jutsu against Hatter, which went about as well as you'd expect, and eventually Hatter agreed to answer his questions, for a price. The first question was worth sharing the blanket. Shika asked about Hatter's history with Raph, wanted detailsdetailsdetails, and in the end Hatter told him that, sorry, he hadn't paid a high enough price for what he was asking.

So Shika asked what it would take for Hatter to answer any question in full. Hatter agreed to do it for a kiss.

He asked for a full account of Hatter's powers and weaknesses.

Sooooo... Shika ended up with a big time mark on him, since apparently he thought he could get the better side out of a deal with a devil. Not gonna happen, thanks.

There's a post where Mika found out about it during a spar, and Hatter took over for a little while. Then Mika took Shika to Raph, and he was able to help some, but couldn't remove the mark entirely.

That's what he gets for making bargains with Hatter. :|b

How would Setsuna react if he found out about that? XD

Lol Demyx jumping up and down with breasts is totally worth the price of admission. I HUGE THEY'RE GINORMOUS.

Not having to worry about knocking things over. Oh yes, and being able to get into most buildings was also nice. Other than that, he's pretty ok with it.

IT'S VERY WORRISOME. He's aware that Methuselah can be more or less out of control if they're in a bloodlust--in his canon he almost killed himself once rather than eat Esther, because he was so low on blood he didn't think he could fight it long. So. You know. This is a very troubling possibility.

And some of the vampires in camp don't seem all that honorable. He's probably going to be telling people to avoid him soon, because he wouldn't be able to deal well with hurting his few friends.

How bad does Zero expect things to get?

I saw that scene in the anime. o/ And poor Ion, trying to keep it all composed despite that experience. :(

Zero is an eternal pessimist so he always prepares for the WORST. It had him very on edge, especially toward the Kurans since their bite alone can produce Level-E (read: insane) vampires, which is what he was.

Neji is dumb. He's not as bad as he could be--he lucked out having people show up and be supportive, both after his breakup and after his death. If he'd had fewer friends for either, he'd be in a worse place now.

That said, he was very shaken up, and he feels sort of like a failure as a ninja for letting it bother him as much as it did. He's supposed to be able to handle dying! Itachi wasn't this disturbed by it. But he is disturbed. He also feels like he shouldn't have been taken by SURPRISE. That's a big part of why he's bothered--he's supposed to be able to tell when people are lying, normally he can tell when someone isn't human or something like that, he ought to have seen a CHAINSAW before it got to him. So...

And even with the friends he's had, not being with Itachi while he deals with this is making him feel very alone.

Tell me about VK! Somehow, I never really got drawn into it. Despite vampires. Should I have checked it out?

Demyx gets a fancy goldfish, the kind with the bubbles under its eyes, as he finds that hilarious. He then forgets to feed it for several weeks. Upon remembering its existence, he dumps half a canister of fish flakes in the bowl, suffocating it :(.
