[outside cabin we have a young terrorist-cum-catsitter studying the camper registry and subsequent logs intently while quietly talking to himself. making this task a bit more difficult than usual is one kitten batting at the screen while another snoozes just next to laptop. said sleepy kitten might be getting barely noticeable pettings. thankfully dragon kitty appears to be keeping her distance for the time being and watches from a few feet away]

Maybe one of the new campers will be more easily persuaded. As long as Usagi doesn't learn about the exchange until after a success acclimation, she shouldn't be able to interfere. I'll figure out what to do with the third one later.

With any luck, some other camper will find that trait attractive in a companion.

I had previously thought there might be some manner of cloaking and a surrounding field somehow able to alter genetic makeup. But it is true the camper's abilities open up other possibilities.

I'm glad you agree. I still find it difficult to believe that the camp requires such services. Most of the campers seem more than capable of handling threats on their own. Even the younger ones have their protectors.

I admit to being curious. Few of the other counselors have taken on such activities. But it's true few of the others have taken their duties as more than a passing chore.
