[Sometime after speaking with Cornelia and checking on Nunnally, who is still in a deep sleep from the other day, Lelouch heads toward his room to retrieve the piece of paper with the notes he had once taken from Muraki's book in regards to medications to help with sleep.]

Nunnally managed to break the Geass my father placed upon her. It was during our attack on Schneizel's Damocles.

When I came for her, she looked straight at me. She intended to stop me with everything she had.

I didn't know Geass could be broken. But she did it through sheer force of will, I guess. So that's why.
